The most recent CICA/RBC Business Monitor survey conducted in Q3 2009 found that optimism regarding the economy has continued to improve, though it remains lower than historical highs. The survey also found that corporate profits and revenue are projected to increase over the next 12 months, the first time this has occurred since Q3 2008.
The webinar will provide a brief overview of the Q3 2009 CICA/RBC Business Monitor findings. Following this RBC Vice President of Fraud Management Jay Stark will speak on the prevalence of fraud in Canadian business today, types of fraud, recommendations for corporations to avoid fraud and steps that RBC has taken to deal with fraud.

The survey also found that corporate profits and revenue are still estimated to decline over the next 12 months, although less than indicated by the previous survey.

Following this RBC Assistant Chief Economist Dawn Desjardins will explain RBC Economics' current forecast for the Canadian economy.
