Project objective

In 2008, the CICA published Financial Reporting in Canada, 2008 – 33^rd Edition which provides a detailed discussion and illustration of Canadian GAAP (as at October 1, 2008) and a comprehensive survey and analysis of the financial reporting practices of 200 Canadian corporations.

A short supplement has been prepared by CICA staff to highlight changes in Canadian GAAP since October 1, 2008 and to direct readers to guidance on these changes.
