Project objective
The purpose of this research initiative is to update the 1997 CICA publication on Financial Reporting by Investment Funds. The objective is to review the current practices of Canadian investment funds with a view to providing guidance to the industry and users on accounting and financial reporting matters.
In April 2009, the CICA established an Investment Funds Standing Committee to update, on a timely basis, the guidance provided in this publication.
