Project objective and terms of reference The objective of the Digital Archives Advisory Committee is to provide leadership in creating CICA digital archives, recommend potential accounting history initiatives, and provide advice on ways to host and maintain the archives, as well as communicate with interested parties using the Internet. The terms of reference for this project are: - To provide leadership in identifying areas where CICA digital archives are needed;
- To explore and recommend potential accounting history topics and themes of importance to the accounting profession in Canada;
- To coordinate and monitor ongoing CICA accounting history initiatives;
- To explore and recommend ways to communicate with interested parties and disseminate the results of accounting history initiatives in a timely and cost-effective manner;
- To provide advice on establishing a potential joint venture with a Canadian university to host and maintain the CICA digital archives that would be accessible by interested parties over the Internet.
