Subscribing to an RSS feed is similar to subscribing to a podcast except that RSS feeds provide text instead of audio content.  With CICA RSS feeds, you can access CICA’s Latest News and review changes to the CICA website at your convenience in your favourite environment.

It is easy to use RSS feeds:

1. First you will need to download an RSS Reader or RSS Web Module (see section below)
2. To add a CICA RSS channel, simply click on the appropriate button, copy the URL and paste it into your RSS application.

Getting an RSS News Reader

Some RSS Readers are available as a free download; others are available for purchase.  Moreover, certain readers work better with some operating systems than others, so this must be considered when choosing RSS software.

An alternative to downloading a dedicated news reader is to use a web-based news reader.  For example My Yahoo users can add RSS feeds directly to their personal page.

Selecting RSS feeds

1. Click on the button for the feed you want
2. Copy the URL from the address bar
3. Paste it in the appropriate field of your RSS reader
