We have prepared a complete list of conferences, courses and webinars available through the CA profession’s national and provincial institutes.

Web-based Learning

Introduction to IFRS

Our on-line primer course, Introduction to IFRS – Implications for Canadian Business, is an excellent starting point. The three hour e-learning course is free of charge, available in English and French and qualifies for CPD credits. It is highly recommended for all accounting professionals.

Elearning course:  IFRS and the Audit Committee

With oversight responsibility for MD&A disclosures related to implementation planning and progress, and the impact of IFRS on financial reporting, the Audit Committee has a significant role to play. In this session, Bev Briscoe provides advice on what audit committees will be expecting with respect to the IFRS transition.
