The objective of this seminar is to provide participants with the information they need to make decisions in their organization regarding revenue recognition. It will assist participants in addressing issues such as revenue reporting subject to scrutiny by regulators in other jurisdictions, finding and utilizing guidance for unique revenue recognition situations, identifying and understanding the key differences between IFRS and Canadian GAAP in accounting for revenue, the identification and treatment of the separate elements in multiple-element arrangements, and upcoming changes that are anticipated in accounting for revenue.
