No. The review engagement standards have not yet been revised to follow the same reporting model as in the Canadian Auditing Standards. The review engagement standards do not provide guidance on reporting on special purpose financial statements for example. Further, the review engagement standards do not reflect that it may be acceptable for practitioners to report on financial statements prepared using a general purpose financial reporting framework other than Canadian GAAP in certain circumstances.
