12. How can I learn more?

The CICA and the provincial institutes/ordre, are uniquely positioned to support members and the wider business community in managing the change to CASs. We are the recognized leaders in providing guidance and education in applying standards in Canada.

We are developing a full range of information and learning opportunities to enable members and the broader financial community to develop the CAS knowledge and expertise they will need to fulfill their professional obligations to their employers, clients and the public, and to make the necessary transitions in a seamless, effective and efficient manner.

Resources will include:

• The CICA Professional Engagement Manual (C●PEM)
• The CICA Quality Assurance Manual (QAM)
• Information and Guidance on Canadian Auditing Standards;
• Training and self-study materials;
• Up-to-date course and conference registration information;
• Classroom support materials for academics and students; and
• Materials developed by AASB staff.
