Applying for specialist membership

Having met the above criteria, the individual will complete and submit to the Alliance an application form with the required enclosures, including:

  • reports from two recent assignments for which the candidate has had primary responsibility;
  • four letters of reference (2 from peers, including the candidate's employer or others in the same firm or office, where applicable, and 2 from clients or other third parties (e.g., lawyers, insurance adjusters, etc.) who are knowledgeable about the candidate's work).

The reference letter from the applicant's employer, where applicable, should confirm that the candidate had primary responsibility for the reports submitted.
