Government Relations – Policy & Advocacy

The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) represents Canada’s CA profession both nationally and internationally. The CICA advocates on issues in the public interest –such as Taxation, Retirement Income, Foreign Credential Recognition and Financial Literacy.  CICA comments on current and pending federal regulations and legislation and participates in a number of federal consultations – notably the annual federal pre-budget consultation process.
