Government Relations – Policy & Advocacy

As the leading professional accounting association in Canada, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) provides input on public policy and issues of concern to the accounting profession. The CICA advocates on issues in the public interest –such as Retirement Income, Foreign Credentials and Financial Literacy. With the support of our members, CICA comments on current and pending federal regulations and legislation and participates in a number of federal consultations – notably the annual federal pre-budget consultation process.
